Ready Set Blow Podcast

The Ready Set Blow Podcast, hosted by Randy Valerio, is brought to you weekly each and every Wednesday. Randy is an LA-based comedian originally hailing from the streets of Queens, NY. In 2016, after having spent over a decade on Wall Street working in high finance, investment banking, and private equity, Randy decided he was tired of being able to pay his bills on time and jumped head-first into stand up comedy. Every week he sits down on the podcast and chops it up with friends and guests from all walks of life, including comedy, music, entertainment, academia, business and even politics. He and his guests discuss their lives, daily experiences, current events, and other random silliness. Randy has a knack for drawing out honest, raw, self-examined, irreverent, funny and always entertaining conversations with his guests. He is not afraid to ask deeply personal and sometimes borderline inappropriate questions. And, of course, he always seems to find a topic to get on his soap box and rant about. You can email the show at rsbpodcast@gmail.com for inquires, sponsorship, or just to drop a note or share a thought. The boys kick off the episode talking about belt styles. This somehow morphs into a convo about types of milk. Chase and Randy have a little weights and measures lesson in the middle of the episode as they try to figure out how to measure breast milk. They move on to talk about the dropping of charges in the Jussie Smollett case. Randy talks about a recent bombing and his concerns as a struggling comedian. The fellas bring the show home with the headlines - Having children makes people more unhappy than divorce or losing their job and Rosie O’Donnell had a crush on Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

Randy and Chase are joined by comedian and the pride of Bridgewater State, Troy Burditt. The boys kick off the show asking Troy what it's like to be in college these days. Troy tells the story about the time a guy named Smooth mugged him outside of an open mic. The guys move on to talk about Troy’s other passion - playing tuba in the marching band. They switch back to talking about college and the easy-A classes they’ve taken. The gang covers the news - Anti-vaccer almost dies from a tetanus shot, Lebron passes Jordan in all-time scoring, a teacher makes a student wipe ashes off his head on Ash Wednesday. The guys bring the show home talking about Troy’s love life.

You can check out Troy hosting the Greyhound Tavern Comedy show every other Monday (next show is 4/1) at 8pm in Bridgewater, MA!

The boys open the podcast with a recap of Randy’s weekend in North Carolina. Chase explains why he’s not a big fan of St. Patty’s. Randy asks Chase if he likes getting bad news first or good news first and why. Randy bitches about the airlines. The boys hit the headlines - the University bribery scandal, the mass shooting in New Zealand, a man put his nuts in salsa, and the Gambino family boss is murdered. Chase closes the show with a story about the time he shit his pants.
