The boys welcome Minnesota Timberwolves player development coach and founder of the Hoops for Hope, Sam Newman-Beck to the podcast. The gang kicks off the show discussing Sam’s start in the NBA with the Celtics and his experiences with players, like Kevin Garnett. Sam and Chase discuss growing up in the local Boston hoops scene. Randy moves on to ask Sam about his family life and being on the road. Sam talks a little about the business and politics side of pro sports. The boys wrap up the show talking about Sam’s foundation, Hoops and Hope.

Hoops and Hope brings together families across Medford, MA and surrounding areas to honor the memory of Krystle Campbell and Brandon Bolden, while also showing appreciation for the West Medford Community Center. If you would like to donate or get involved, go visit www.hoopsandhope.org. If you’d like to participate in the Hoops and Hope Classic, it’s going down this Sunday August 26th at Dugger Park in Medford, MA.
